      Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the job include but are not limited to:

      • Beverage Program Conceptualizing / Rollouts / Oversight
        • Will be responsible for concepting of specific Property Beverage Menus
          • Cocktails & Spirits, Wine, Beer
          • Beverage program to follow Pacifica Beverage Program standards, as well as industry wide trends
        • Seasonal / daily / monthly / quarterly changes
          • Research / development of trends based on seasons and comp set
          • Complete roll out of all changes to include conception, recipe guides and costing, bar recipe guides, batch costing with recipe guides, procurement of product, mis en place, on property training, roll out, and oversite
        • Beverage Training
          • Responsible for all beverage training property wide
        • Pacifica Beverage Program / Procurement
          • Analyzation of numbers monthly to ensure compliancy and expansion of programs via Bevspot
          • Monthly inventory counts, COGS

      SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: Beverage team members, with additional supporting coverage of front of house food and beverage team employees.

      INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT USED: Frequently within the guidelines established by management and to the extent of operating within Pacifica Hotel Company policies and procedures.

      WORKING CONDITIONS/ENVIRONMENT Restaurant, bar, and kitchen facilities as well as traditional office environment.

      KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: Three (3) years of experience in beverage preparation and restaurant operations. College degree preferred. Experience in hiring, training, supervision, forecasting, budget preparation and cost control in food and labor. Proficient in training, coaching and counseling.

      SKILLS/ABILITIES/OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Ability to speak, read and write fluently in English. Excellent customer service, communication skills (written and verbal) and attention to detail. Ability to prioritize, organize and made sound judgements. Ability to manage multi-departmental operations. Ability to direct performance of restaurant and kitchen team members and follow up with corrective action where needed. Ability to maintain good team member relations. Ability to develop and maintain effective interdepartmental relations. Ability to work long hours, 5 to 6 days a week. Dependable.

      Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 per year
